It’s funny, sometimes I have ideas floating around in my head for months before I get around to making them, and sometimes I just go to the kitchen to get a glass of water, and before I know it, I’m whipping up some new recipe that I had no plans on making.
Ari, we know exactly what you mean. Have you ever printed out a recipe and by the time your done cooking it, it doesn’t resemble anything you were trying to make? Just me? I don’t like to waste food so I always add way to much of everything. At least I’m admitting my problem and now I can move on and find a solution haha. Don’t tell me not to buy so much when it looks so good. Am I having a conversation with myself? Let’s move on to the recipe that Ari was gracious enough to share.
Sometimes its the easy recipes that taste the best. We tried this recipe and it was a big hit! If someone in your family has a nut allergy this is a delicious little spread to have them try.
Remember to get your roasted sunflower seeds here, we’re not saying its more fun but you will get them freshly roasted, its easier and always organic!Cinnamon Raisin Sunflower Seed Butter
- 8oz roasted sunflower seeds (I used salted, if you don’t, add a pinch of salt)
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1-2 tbsp brown sugar (depending on how sweet you like it. I used 1 1/2, but I love sugar, and could have easily added more…)
- 1/2 cup raisins

Thanks again Ari for sharing this wonderful treat! If my 15 month old could type, I’m sure he would email you saying “Thanks, for showing this recipe with daddy.”
